About

CLV Law Chambers was founded in New Delhi in 1977, and practises in criminal, constitutional and civil law.

Its members appear before the Supreme Court of India and the High Court of Delhi, and before the district courts, tribunals and consumer forums of the capital — including matters under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act and the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, and proceedings before the Directorate of Enforcement.

The chambers acts for individuals, companies and public bodies.

Matters are taken up on their merits and prepared closely, from first advice and pleadings through to final hearing. Clients are told plainly where a case stands and what it is likely to ask of them.

Senior Partner

C.L. Gupta

C.L. Gupta has practised at the Bar since 1977. His areas of practice are criminal law, constitutional law, and civil and property matters, with an emphasis on trial and appellate work.

He has served as Public Prosecutor, as Additional Public Prosecutor before the High Court of Delhi, and as Senior Panel Counsel for the Government of India, and has been appointed to several government panels. He is Legal Advisor to Bachpan Bachao Andolan.
